U is an exhibition of 100 paintings displayed as an installation in the open gallery and multi-use space of the Arts Center in Carrboro, North Carolina. The paintings that make up this installation were created over a 2 year period, 2021-2022 and are all paint on wood panel. I largely arranged the work based on the main colors I use when painting. (red wall, blue wall, green, and yellow.)

I work to make these paintings stand alone when creating in the studio but at heart, I am an installation artist and my paintings beg to be seen in conversation with one another as well as with the space they exist within and ideally those who enter that space.
